Completing checklist items

Each checklist item on an ITP has three buttons. Pick one for every item before you can sign the hold point.

• All good: you inspected the item and it is compliant. Evidence is required.
• Issue found: something needs attention. Evidence is required so you can show what was wrong, and an issue is opened that you can track through to resolution.
• N/A: the item genuinely does not apply to this job. No evidence required, but record a short reason explaining why.

Every item also has an optional note field for context.

Signing the hold point

When every item has been actioned, the Reasonable Builder declaration opens. You read it, sign with your name, and the hold point is locked. The declaration is timestamped and cannot be edited afterwards.

If you can't sign in from the app

Some hold points get signed off another way, on paper or through a regulator's own system. For those, use Bypass ITP. You record why the bypass was needed and that reason locks alongside the hold point. Use it when the sign-off genuinely happened somewhere else, not to skip an inspection.
