First-time setup: onboarding your business

When you first sign in, BuildStandard runs a short onboarding so your compliance records are tied to the right business entity. It's a one-time setup and takes a couple of minutes.
What we ask for
- Your business name and ABN.
- Your builder's licence number and the state it's issued in.
- Who you are within the business (director, office admin, finance).
Once you finish, you land on your Dashboard. Everything you do from that point (Financial Evaluations, projects, handovers) is recorded against the business you set up here, so it's worth taking the extra thirty seconds to get the details right.
If a detail changes later (new licence number, name change), email us. We'll update it for you without disturbing your existing records.
