Licences: adding them and keeping them current

Open Corporate > Licences. This page holds both company licences and individual practitioner licences, each with its uploaded evidence.

Adding a licence

1. Choose the licence type you are adding.
2. Enter the licence number, the state it is issued in, and the expiry date.
3. Upload a clear copy of the licence itself. A photo of the card is fine as long as every detail is legible.

Once the evidence is attached, the item stops showing as outstanding.

Expiry

BuildStandard tracks the expiry date you enter and reminds you before it lapses. When you renew, upload the new copy and update the date. The old version stays on the record, which is the point: you can show continuous cover rather than just current cover.

Licences are one of the first things a client, developer or insurer looks at on your Trust Center, so a lapsed one is worth fixing the same day you hear about it.
