Send a trade a declaration link

You can ask a trade to declare their work without them needing a BuildStandard login. They get a magic link by email, open it, and sign.

Steps

1. Open the relevant project ITP and find the trade row.
2. Enter the trade's email and choose Send invite.
3. They open the link, review the declaration, attach any required evidence, and sign.
4. Their signed declaration is recorded against the project.

The lifecycle

• Pending: you've added the trade but no invite has been sent yet.
• Invited: invite sent. You can Resend or Revoke at any point before they sign.
• Signed: locked. Their declaration is on the project record.
• Vetoed: the trade opened the link but explicitly declined to sign (see the next article).

You can remove a trade row entirely if it was added in error. Once a trade is Signed or Vetoed, the row is locked.
