What financial documents should I have on file?
3 min read
The Financial module splits your paperwork in two: records that belong to a reporting period, and records that do not.
Reporting Actuals
- Signed financial statements, or an audited financial report where you have one.
- Accountant declaration and financial declaration.
- SGC declaration and your ATO integrated client account.
Working Documents
- WIP schedule.
- Aged debtors and aged creditors.
- Business bank statements, and personal ones where they are relevant to the assessment.
- Cashflow forecast and facilities schedule.
- Guarantor financial statements, personal statements of information, deed of covenant.
You will not need every item on this list. What applies to you depends on your state, your entity structure and the capacity you are working towards. Your accountant will know which ones matter for your setup.
Upload clear, complete copies. Parts pages and blurry scans slow everything down later, usually at the worst possible moment.
